Technical Assistance

As Health IT projects can be expensive, taking advantage of the available Medicaid EHR Incentives can make the difference in ensuring return on investment. MeHI provides online resources and a Technical Assistance team to guide you in understanding the Meaningful Use and other Medicaid EHR Incentive Program requirements, so you can apply for the incentives more easily:

  • Our online resources are designed to help you interpret the regulations, conduct self-assessments, and get organized.
  • Technical Assistance is available to help providers through the Validation Process of the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program.

Online Resources

It is important to assess the current state of your practice and evaluate your readiness to adhere to Meaningful Use and other program regulations. The MeHI website offers EHR, HIE and Meaningful Use toolkits, educational resources, and eHealth Education to provide practical guidance, interpretations of the regulations, and links to applicable regulatory documents.

Check back frequently, as we continuously add new and relevant resources to these toolkits and other resources.

Personalized Education and Guidance

Our Technical Asstance team is available to provide you with personalized education and guidance. Our aim is to reduce the complexity of the process, so you can earn the incentives. Attestation and Audit Preparation

To prepare for the Attestation Process, Validation Process and potential Post-Payment Audits, it is essential to maintain documentation on how you adhered to the regulations and qualified for incentives. Keeping everything organized will become a significant administrative task. MeHI's Technical Assistance staff can provide preparation guidance to relieve this challenge.

Keep in mind that while our specialists can explain registration, attestation and documentation requirements, they cannot prepare applications, review new iterations of application data, validate documents prior to MAPIR submission, or waive program rules.
